Balloons for Feet

In the back of my head I remember being told that women can sometimes get bloated feet when they're pregnant. Its just a sign of water weight and will go down after the baby is born...but I guess I never really thought too much about it. Last weekend I could kind of feel my shoes getting a little too tight...and I don't wear shoes with laces, just the slip on kind. And then monday I looked down and saw this.

HOLY COW! Or should I say PIGGIES! HUGE FEET! Seriously, I couldn't get over how incredibly swollen they were. So, I immediately started putting my feet up at any moment possible. Sleeping that way is really not comfortable at all. Anyway...here's another update picture! I'm at 33 weeks now and just counting down the weeks/days until our little girl gets here! We're so incredibly excited! :)

  1. My name is Maria (Brown) Christensen and I am a friend of Chris and his family. I just wanted to say that your feet will return to normal after she's born. My feet were the same way when I was pregnant with my first. It took a few weeks after my son was born for them to look normal. In fact, I remember looking at my feet the first time when they were back to normal and thinking "what's wrong with my feet?!? Why are they so skinny?" Then I remembered "Oh yeah. That's what my feet actually look like." :) Good luck with your last few weeks!
